All sensors linked / paired with system, Plug in the alarm panel to the mini-ups, plug in the ups to your wall socket - when the power trips, the ups will power up the alarm for up to 10hrs - once the power / electricity returns, the ups will recharge automatically. 

** NOTE: THE ALARM INPUT VOLTAGE IS 9V, THEREFORE THE UPS MUST BE SET TO 9V (the voltage selector switch is on the UPS)
